Ka-Band Quad System

The Ka-Band Quad System is designed to deliver full coverage of the Ka-band receive spectrum, ensuring high-performance signal processing for advanced satellite communication systems. The system includes four wideband Ka-band Low Noise Amplifiers (LNAs) with integrated waveguide isolators, paired with Ka-band Block Downconverters (BDCs) also equipped with waveguide isolators, and matched high-frequency cables for optimal performance.

Engineered for precision, the system features excellent phase noise characteristics to support all DVB-S2X service profiles. A range of customizable options are available, including Local Oscillator (LO) frequency, gain, and frequency ranges. Dedicated inputs for DC power and external 10 MHz reference signals provide additional flexibility in system integration.

For advanced network integration, the optional SMW Monitoring & Control (M&C) interface enables daisy-chaining of multiple units via a Modbus RTU RS485 network, allowing for centralized alarm and control functionality.
