The ETL Systems Piranha PRN-G1S-LS2-101 is an LNB DC power inserter module for satellite communications and RF distribution systems. Operating from 850–2500 MHz, it supplies selectable 13 V or 18 V DC at port 1 to power a compatible LNB or similar equipment.

The DC output can be switched off, and a selectable 22 kHz tone supports compatible LNB control functions. Maximum LNB load current is 500 mA, with current-limited overcurrent trip and restart protection. When installed in a compatible GENUS chassis fitted with the required 10 MHz reference card, the module also provides switchable 10 MHz injection onto port 1.

LNB current and RF input power monitoring support user-settable upper and lower alarm limits. Voltage, tone, and reference selection are controlled through the parent chassis, with local HMI control where fitted and remote access through the chassis Ethernet interface. An LNB DC active LED on the module face provides a local status indication.

Each hot-swappable module occupies one slot. Available RF connector configurations include 50Ω SMA, 50Ω BNC, 75Ω BNC, and 75Ω F-type.
