Peak Communications VGU010 10-Channel Variable & Fixed Gain Unit is a modular 2U rack-mounted system providing gain and attenuation control for IF, L-Band, and SHF signals. Supporting up to 10 hot-swappable variable attenuation or fixed gain modules, the VGU010 is ideal for balancing cross-site cable losses and remotely adjusting satellite earth station uplink and downlink signal levels. It features Ethernet remote control, full alarm monitoring, redundant hot-swappable power supplies, and optional slope compensation, fail-safe bypass, and splitter/combiner modules.
