Peak P7012 Ku-Band to IF Down Converter

The Peak Communications P7012 Ku-Band to IF Down Converter is a fully synthesised satellite frequency converter designed for professional SATCOM earth stations, teleports, and broadcast reception systems. The unit converts 12.25 – 12.75 GHz Ku-Band signals to IF outputs of 70 MHz ±18 MHz or 140 MHz ±36 MHz, enabling reliable signal conversion for satellite receivers and modem systems.

The P7012 incorporates an L-Band interface, allowing operators to support mixed IF and L-Band infrastructures while preparing networks for future L-Band upgrades. The converter offers excellent RF stability, low phase noise, and high dynamic range, making it suitable for high-order modulation and high-data-rate digital communication systems. 

The unit includes a front-panel graphical display, intuitive control interface, redundancy control via CANBUS, and automatic locking to an external 10 MHz reference for precise frequency stability.
