Datum M7D 32-Channel IF and L-Band Satellite Multi-Demodulator 

The Datum Systems M7D is a compact, high-density 32-channel satellite multi-demodulator designed for SCPC return links in point-to-multipoint, mesh and HTS hub networks. It provides up to 32 independent ACM receive channels in a half-rack 1RU enclosure, substantially reducing the equipment space and cost required at satellite hubs and teleports.

The M7D contains two multi-demodulator cards with 16 receive channels and 80 MHz of center-frequency bandwidth per card. Two M7D units can be installed side by side to provide as many as 64 independent receive channels in a single 1RU rack space.

Supporting 50–180 MHz IF and 950–2250 MHz L-band, the M7D offers FlexLDPC coding, Adaptive Coding and Modulation, data rates up to 75 Mbps and symbol rates up to 72 Msps. Its integrated Gigabit Ethernet switch connects all receive channels to the LAN through a consolidated network interface.
