Datum M7D Compact IF and L-Band Satellite Dual Demodulator
The Datum Systems M7D is a compact, modular dual satellite demodulator designed for SCPC, managed-bandwidth and multi-carrier satellite networks. Its two fully independent demodulators can receive carriers from different bandwidth allocations or satellite transponders, providing flexible operation at hub and remote sites.
Available for 50–180 MHz IF or 950–2150 MHz L-band, the M7D supports data rates from 1.2 kbps to 59.04 Mbps and multiple demodulation formats through 16QAM. Advanced FlexLDPC coding, granular code rates and selectable block sizes help maximize bandwidth efficiency while maintaining low processing latency.
The half-rack 1RU design allows two M7D units to be installed side by side in a standard rack. Flexible interface options include advanced IP routing, Express Ethernet, serial, HSSI and dual G.703/E1.
