The Datum Systems M7D and M7LD are compact, high-speed DVB-S2 and DVB-S2X satellite dual demodulators designed for point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, mesh, unicast and multicast networks. Two fully independent demodulators allow simultaneous reception of carriers from different bandwidth allocations or satellite transponders.

The M7D supports 50–180 MHz IF, while the M7LD operates across 950–2150 MHz L-band. Each platform supports data rates from 256 kbps to 350 Mbps, symbol rates up to 72 Msps and modulation through 64APSK, with optional 128APSK and 256APSK.

DVB-S2X, Adaptive Coding and Modulation, and carrier roll-off factors down to 5% help improve spectral efficiency, throughput and link availability. The integrated DVB-GSE Express Ethernet interface provides four Gigabit Ethernet ports, an optional SFP port, QoS and VLAN support.
