DTV Chimera-RM

Chimera-RM is a new, powerful, and flexible MPEG-2/H.264 encoder in a compact/portable form factor that allows two encoders to be mounted side by side in just 1RU with optional rack mount kit. Chimera-RM features Static and Dynamic PSIP support & AAC Audio, Stream Recording, Decoding, and Transcoding, plus an optional satellite modulator with BISS encryption.

ATSC Disaster Recovery

Chimera-RM makes an excellent, low-cost emergency ATSC-compliant encoder for use at the transmitter site, complete with support for static PSIP as standard, or with dynamic PSIP optionally.

DSNG Outside Broadcast

Chimera-RM when equipped with its internal satellite modulator, is perfectly suited for use in fly-away, mobile, or fixed-station satellite broadcast installations. Only ½ rack wide, its compact, space-saving form factor is ideal when rack space is limited.

Live IP Streaming

In addition to high-resolution, broadcast streaming, Chimera-RM can simultaneously stream your content directly to popular social media platforms – YouTube, Facebook, or Twitter – with no additional equipment required.
