Evertz 2408LT L-Band/Wideband Fiber-Optic Transmitter with SmartMON, Up to 3 GHz 

The Evertz 2408LT is a compact L-band and wideband fiber-optic transmitter that converts one coaxial RF input into one optical output for transmission over fiber. Depending on the selected laser option, it supports frequency ranges from 88 MHz to 3 GHz for satellite L-band, over-the-air DTV, GPS and other broadband RF signals.

Designed for installation on or near an antenna, the 2408LT minimizes coaxial cable length to preserve carrier-to-noise performance. The optional 2408LT-WP weatherproof version provides IP65 dust and water protection for outdoor mounting without a secondary enclosure.

Manual gain control and automatic gain control compensate for RF input-level variations. The transmitter also provides an RF monitor output, selectable LNB power, 22 kHz tone, current monitoring and short-circuit protection. SmartMON relays RF level, LNB current, power-supply status and other operating data through the optical output for remote SNMP and VistaLINK monitoring when used with a compatible SmartMON receiver.
