Evertz 7800FR 15-Slot 3RU Multiframe Chassis
The Evertz 7800FR is a high-density 3RU multiframe chassis that accommodates up to 15 single-slot processing modules in any combination. It supports simultaneous RF, fiber, ASI, IP, 3G and HD/SD signal processing, providing a flexible platform that can expand as facility requirements change.
Dual frame genlock distributes a stable reference signal across the internal bus to installed modules, reducing the need for external genlock distribution. The 7800FR also provides global frame-status alarming, front-extractable modules and power supplies, and front-to-rear cooling with rear-mounted fans.
Compatible with Evertz 7800 and 7700 series processing modules and companion rear plates, the chassis supports SNMP monitoring through an optional 7700FC or 7800FC frame controller. AC, DC and hybrid AC/DC power configurations are available, with optional redundant power supplies and separate inlets.
