The Evertz 7801FR is a compact 1RU multiframe chassis that accommodates up to four single-slot or two dual-slot processing modules in any combination. It supports simultaneous RF, fiber, ASI, IP, 3G and HD/SD processing for broadcast, telecommunications and professional signal-management systems.

Dual frame genlock distributes a stable reference signal across the internal bus to installed modules, helping reduce external genlock-distribution requirements. The 7801FR also offers global frame-status alarming, front-extractable modules, power supplies and fans, and front-to-side airflow through side-mounted fans.

The chassis is backward compatible with Evertz 7800 and 7700 series modules and companion rear plates. True SNMP VistaLINK PRO control is available through the optional 7801FC frame controller. AC, DC and hybrid AC/DC power configurations are supported, with an optional second power supply for redundancy.
