Evertz 2406LR Standalone Wideband RF Fiber Receiver, 88 MHz–3 GHz
The Evertz 2406LR is a compact, temperature-hardened RF-over-fiber receiver that converts one optical input into two equal-power coaxial RF outputs. The standard 2406LR covers 88 MHz–3 GHz, while the high-sensitivity 2406LR-H covers 88 MHz–2.3 GHz for longer fiber links.
Designed for installation on or near an antenna, the standalone receiver supports satellite L-band, off-air DTV, VSAT, portable antenna and other wideband RF applications. Its protocol-independent design transports video, audio and data signals regardless of modulation format.
Manual gain control provides fixed output adjustment, while AGC automatically maintains a selected output level as optical conditions change. Tri-color LEDs indicate optical input, DC input and RF output status. The optional 2406LR-WP weatherproof version provides IP65 protection for direct outdoor mounting without a secondary enclosure.
When paired with an Evertz 2408LT transmitter, the 2406LR can form a bidirectional fiber link for VSAT and similar systems. Dedicated 10 MHz versions are also available for reference-frequency transport and GPS applications.
