The Peak Communications P7001R is a fully synthesised remote mounted L-Band to IF down converter designed for professional SATCOM earth stations, teleports, broadcast receive systems, and outdoor satellite installations. Housed in a rugged IP66 weatherproof enclosure, the P7001R converts 950–1750 MHz L-Band signals to 70 MHz ±18 MHz or optional 140 MHz ±36 MHz IF, providing reliable signal conversion close to the antenna while minimizing cable losses.

Designed for outdoor operation, the P7001R features Ethernet, SNMP, RS-232/485 remote control, automatic locking to an external 10 MHz reference, integrated CANBUS® 1+1 and 2+1 redundancy control, and built-in LNB/block down converter DC and reference outputs. The converter is fully compliant with IESS-308 / IESS-309 requirements, making it suitable for high-order modulation schemes and modern high-data-rate satellite communication systems.

The P7001R is ideal for antenna-mounted installations where minimizing L-Band cable loss and providing reliable outdoor frequency conversion are critical for professional SATCOM systems.
