The Peak Communications P7002R is a fully synthesised remote mounted IF to L-Band up converter designed for professional SATCOM earth stations, teleports, broadcast uplink facilities, and outdoor antenna installations. Housed in a rugged IP66 weatherproof enclosure, the P7002R converts 70 MHz ±18 MHz or optional 140 MHz ±36 MHz IF signals into 950–1525 MHz L-Band output, with optional extended output ranges up to 1750 MHz. Its remote-mounted architecture minimizes IF cable losses while delivering reliable frequency conversion close to the antenna.

Designed for demanding outdoor operation, the P7002R features Ethernet, SNMP, RS-232/485 remote control, automatic locking to an external 5 MHz or 10 MHz reference, integrated CANBUS® 1+1 and 2+1 redundancy control, and built-in 22.5 VDC and 10 MHz outputs for powering and referencing block up converters. Fully compliant with IESS-308 / IESS-309 specifications, the converter provides excellent phase noise, frequency stability, and RF performance for high-order modulation and high-data-rate satellite communication systems.
