Peak IBUH(A) Series Rack Mounted Block Up Converter

The Peak Communications IBUH(A) Series is a family of high-performance rack mounted block up converters (BUCs) designed for professional SATCOM earth stations, teleports, broadcast uplink facilities, and defense communication systems. Available in C-Band, X-Band, Ku-Band, DBS-Band, and INSAT frequency ranges, the IBUH(A) Series converts L-Band signals into SHF uplink frequencies with exceptional phase noise, frequency stability, and RF performance.

Built around externally phase-locked dielectric resonator oscillator (XPDRO) technology, the IBUH(A) Series delivers significantly better frequency stability and lower phase noise than conventional VCO-based block up converters. The converters feature a full front-panel graphical user interface, Ethernet and serial remote control, automatic external 10 MHz reference locking, integrated CANBUS® 1+1 and 2+1 redundancy control, and optional N+1 redundancy support. Optional input power monitoring, variable attenuation, RF mute, test loop translator, L-Band monitoring, and fiber optic interfaces make the IBUH(A) Series ideal for mission-critical satellite communication infrastructure.
