Peak IBUH(B) Series Multi-Range Rack Mounted Block Up Converter
The Peak Communications IBUH(B) Series is a family of multi-range rack mounted Block Up Converters (BUCs) engineered for professional satellite earth stations, teleports, broadcast uplink facilities, and defense SATCOM networks. Designed to convert L-Band signals into multiple SHF uplink frequency bands, the IBUH(B) Series supports C-Band, X-Band, Ku-Band, DBS-Band, and multi-band configurations within a single compact 1U rack-mount chassis.
Using externally phase-locked dielectric resonator oscillator (XPDRO) technology, the IBUH(B) Series delivers outstanding frequency stability, ultra-low phase noise, and excellent RF performance for high-order modulation systems. Depending on the model, converters provide switchable or simultaneous multi-band operation, automatic 10 MHz external reference locking, integrated CANBUS® 1+1 and 2+1 redundancy control, Ethernet/SNMP remote management, and an intuitive front-panel graphical interface. Optional features including RF monitoring, variable attenuation, test loop translator, RF mute, fiber optic L-Band interface, and input power monitoring make the IBUH(B) Series ideal for mission-critical satellite communication infrastructure.
