Peak IBDH(B) Series Multi-Band Rack Mounted Block Down Converter

The Peak Communications IBDH(B) Series is a family of multi-band and multi-range rack mounted Block Down Converters (BDCs) designed for professional satellite earth stations, teleports, broadcast receive facilities, gateway infrastructure, and government SATCOM applications. The IBDH(B) Series converts SHF satellite signals into L-Band outputs while supporting multiple frequency bands and selectable operating ranges within a single compact 1U rack-mount chassis.

Built using externally phase-locked dielectric resonator oscillator (XPDRO) technology, the IBDH(B) Series delivers exceptional frequency stability, ultra-low phase noise, and excellent spurious rejection for high-performance satellite communication systems. Depending on the model, converters support internal band switching or simultaneous multi-band operation with dedicated RF inputs and outputs. Additional features include automatic 10 MHz external reference locking, integrated CANBUS® 1+1 and 2+1 redundancy control, Ethernet/SNMP remote management, electronic attenuation, fiber optic L-Band interface, and a front-panel graphical user interface for reliable operation in mission-critical SATCOM networks.
