The Peak Communications PBU(A) Series is a family of single-range remote mounted Block Up Converters (BUCs) designed for professional satellite earth stations, teleports, broadcast uplinks, VSAT hubs, mobile terminals, and government SATCOM systems. Compatible with L-Band modems, P7000 Series frequency converters, and other L-Band equipment, the PBU(A) Series converts L-Band signals to C-Band, Extended C-Band, INSAT C-Band, X-Band, Ku-Band, and DBS-Band uplink frequencies in a rugged IP66 weatherproof enclosure.

Built for demanding outdoor operation, the PBU(A) Series utilizes externally phase-locked dielectric resonator oscillators (XPDROs) for superior frequency stability and low phase noise. Features include automatic 10 MHz external reference locking, high-rejection filtering, optional Ethernet with SNMP, electronically variable attenuation, integrated TX monitoring, and support for 1+1 and 2+1 redundancy systems, making the series ideal for fixed, transportable, and mobile satellite communication applications.
