The Peak Communications F1202R is a fixed-frequency remote mounted IF to L-Band up converter designed for professional satellite earth stations, teleports, broadcast uplink facilities, and legacy SATCOM infrastructure. It converts 70 MHz ±18 MHz IF (or optional 140 MHz ±36 MHz) to a fixed 1200 MHz L-Band output, providing a simple and economical solution for interfacing 70 MHz or 140 MHz modems and transceivers with modern L-Band satellite equipment.

Engineered for reliable outdoor operation, the F1202R features a rugged IP66 weatherproof enclosure, automatic 10 MHz external reference locking with a high-stability internal backup oscillator, and compliance with IESS-306 and IESS-309 requirements. Supporting 1+1 and 2+1 redundancy configurations, the converter delivers excellent phase noise performance and frequency stability for professional fixed satellite communication networks.
