Peak P7000i IF to L-Band Frequency Converter

Peak P7000i is a fully synthesised IF to L-Band frequency converter designed to interface L-Band modems and iDirect Evolution routers with legacy 70 MHz or 140 MHz satellite IF infrastructure.

Developed by Peak Communications Ltd, the P7000i combines up conversion and down conversion in a compact 1U rack-mount unit, providing reliable signal conversion between 950–1750 MHz L-Band and 70/140 MHz IF systems. The converter meets Intelsat IBS and Eutelsat SMS specifications and complies with IESS308 / IESS309 requirements, making it suitable for high-order modulation and high-data-rate SATCOM networks.

With integrated 1+1 and 2+1 redundancy control, automatic 10 MHz reference locking, and optional Ethernet remote management, the P7000i provides a cost-effective solution for upgrading existing satellite ground stations to support modern L-Band modem infrastructure. 

The P7000i frequency converter is widely used in satellite earth stations, teleports, and broadcast uplink facilities requiring reliable L-Band modem to IF signal conversion.
