Peak P7003 Series C-Band to IF Down Frequency Converter

The Peak Communications P7003 Series C-Band to IF Down Frequency Converters are fully synthesised satellite converters designed for professional SATCOM ground stations, teleports, and broadcast earth station systems.The converters translate 3.4–4.8 GHz C-Band signals to 70 MHz ±18 MHz or 140 MHz ±36 MHz IF, providing reliable signal conversion for satellite receivers, demodulators, and digital communication infrastructure. 

Manufactured by Peak Communications Ltd, the P7003 Series provides stable frequency conversion and high RF performance suitable for high-order modulation and high-data-rate SATCOM networks. Available variants include P7003A (3.4–4.2 GHz), P7003B (4.5–4.8 GHz), P7003C (3.4–4.2 & 4.5–4.8 GHz), and P7003D (3.4–4.2 & 4.2–4.8 GHz), supporting a wide range of C-Band satellite reception applications.

The P7003 Series also includes an integrated L-Band auxiliary interface (950–1750 MHz) to support mixed IF and L-Band infrastructure while enabling future upgrades to L-Band systems. Additional features include an intuitive front-panel graphical display and keypad, 1+1 and 2+1 redundancy control via CANBUS, and automatic external 10 MHz reference locking for high frequency stability in demanding satellite ground station environments. The converters meet Intelsat IBS and Eutelsat SMS specifications and comply with IESS308 / IESS309 requirements for modern satellite communication networks.
