Peak P7113 Combined Ku-Band Up and L-Band Down Converter

The Peak Communications P7113 Combined Ku-Band Up and L-Band Down Converter is a fully synthesised satellite frequency converter designed for professional SATCOM earth stations, teleports, and broadcast uplink systems. The unit integrates a Ku-Band IF up converter and an L-Band down converter in a single 1U rack-mount chassis, providing a cost-effective solution for satellite communication infrastructure.

The converter supports 70 MHz ±18 MHz or 140 MHz ±36 MHz IF interfaces, enabling compatibility with existing IF-based satellite modem systems. The built-in L-Band interface allows mixed 70/140 MHz IF and L-Band architectures, helping operators transition to modern L-Band networks while maintaining legacy IF infrastructure.

Designed for high-performance SATCOM applications, the P7113 provides excellent RF stability, low phase noise, and support for high-order modulation schemes such as 8PSK and 16QAM at data rates exceeding 50 Mbps. The unit includes a graphical front-panel display, keypad control, integrated redundancy control, and automatic locking to an external 10 MHz reference for precise frequency stability.
