The Peak Communications P7018 Series IF to DBS-Band Up Converters are fully synthesised satellite frequency converters designed for professional SATCOM earth stations, broadcast uplink facilities, and teleport infrastructure. The converters translate 70 MHz ±18 MHz or 140 MHz ±36 MHz IF signals to DBS-band uplink frequencies, delivering stable and precise frequency conversion for modern satellite communication networks.

The P7018 Series supports multiple DBS-band output ranges depending on the model variant, covering 17.3 GHz to 18.4 GHz. The unit includes a standard L-Band interface, enabling compatibility with mixed 70 MHz, 140 MHz, and L-Band infrastructures, while allowing future upgrades to L-Band systems.

Designed for demanding RF environments, the converter provides excellent phase noise performance, high dynamic range, and precise frequency synthesis, making it suitable for high-order modulation and high-data-rate digital satellite transmissions. Integrated CANBUS redundancy control, automatic locking to an external 10 MHz reference, and a front-panel graphical control interface ensure reliable operation in professional ground station deployments.
