The Datum Systems M7LT is a compact, bandwidth-efficient L-band satellite modem terminal designed for point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, mesh, unicast and multicast networks. Operating across 950–2150 MHz, the M7LT supports data rates from 1.2 kbps to 59.04 Mbps with precise 1 bps adjustment.

Advanced FlexLDPC, Adaptive Coding and Modulation (ACM), AUPC and sharp carrier filtering help maximize satellite bandwidth, throughput and link availability. Datum’s Smart Carrier Cancelling technology allows two similar carriers to occupy the same transponder spectrum, providing bandwidth savings of approximately 50%.

The M7LT offers flexible Ethernet, serial and dual G.703/E1 interfaces. Available AC or DC input, internal BUC and LNB power supplies, and a high-stability 10 MHz reference make it a complete modem platform for cellular backhaul, enterprise networks, IP trunking, E1 services and on-the-move SATCOM terminals.
