The Datum Systems PSM-500LT is an integrated L-band satellite modem terminal combining a high-performance SCPC modem, internal BUC and LNB power supplies, and a high-stability 10 MHz reference in a compact 1RU chassis.

The PSM-500LT provides transmit coverage from 950–1750 MHz, receive coverage from 950–1900 MHz and data rates from 1.2 kbps to 29.52 Mbps. FlexLDPC coding with selectable block sizes and code rates delivers high bandwidth efficiency and low latency, while optional TPC, Viterbi, TCM and Reed-Solomon support existing network requirements.

Integrated BUC and LNB power simplifies remote-terminal installation by eliminating separate power-insertion equipment. The front panel provides voltage and current monitoring, along with independent control of BUC power, LNB power and the 10 MHz reference.
