Comtech CDM-570A/L-IPEN Encrypted IP Satellite Modems
The Comtech CDM-570A-IPEN and CDM-570AL-IPEN are IP-centric satellite modems with integrated 3xDES data encryption for secure IP transport. Available with 70/140 MHz or L-band IF, they combine VersaFEC-2, optional DoubleTalk Carrier-in-Carrier, packet processing and optimized rolloffs for bandwidth-efficient enterprise, mobile backhaul and maritime satellite networks.
Frequency Range: 50–90 MHz or 100–180 MHz; 950–2250 MHz L-band
Data Rate: 2.4 kbps to 10.239 Mbps
Symbol Rate: 4.8 ksps to 3 Msps
Modulation: BPSK, QPSK, OQPSK, 8PSK, 8-QAM, 16-QAM and 32-ARY
Data Interfaces: 10/100Base-T Ethernet, EIA-422/530, V.35, synchronous EIA-232 and G.703 T1/E1
Encryption: 3xDES for IP and Ethernet traffic
Applications: Secure enterprise networks, mobile backhaul, maritime communications, communications-on-the-move, disaster recovery and satellite news gathering
