Comtech SLM-5650B MEO/GEO Satellite Modem 

The Comtech SLM-5650B is a secure, software-defined satellite modem designed for MEO and GEO military, government and commercial networks. It is WGS certified, MIL-STD-188-165A compliant and interoperable with existing SLM-5650A networks. The modem supports SES O3b mPOWER operation, DVB-S2X with ACM, optional DSSS and configurable AES-256 TRANSEC for resilient, mission-critical satellite communications. 

Frequency Range: 52–88 MHz, 104–176 MHz and 950–2000 MHz

Data Rate: 8 kbps to 155.52 Mbps

Symbol Rate: 32 ksps to 64 Msps

DVB-S2X Modulation: QPSK through 256APSK

Standard Interfaces: EIA-530, EIA-613 HSSI and Gigabit Ethernet 

Applications: MEO/GEO networks, secure government SATCOM, military communications, trunking and backhaul
