Datum M7XC & M7XC-ODU Compact Software Defined Satellite Modem
The Datum Systems M7XC and M7XC-ODU are compact, software-defined satellite modems designed for hub and remote operation across GEO, MEO, LEO and HTS networks. Their common hardware platform supports more than 18 selectable waveforms, including DVB-S2X, FlexLDPC, ACM and Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum (DSSS).
The M7XC supports data rates up to 565.84 Mbps, modulation through 256APSK, L-band operation from 950 to 2250 MHz and carrier roll-off factors as low as 2%. Advanced capabilities include Smart Carrier Cancelling, hub carrier cancelling, AES-256 TRANSEC encryption, Doppler tracking and OpenAMIP antenna controller integration.
The compact indoor M7XC is optimized for embedded integration into mobile and fixed satellite terminals. The rugged M7XC-ODU features an IP65-rated outdoor enclosure for installation on antenna terminals, pedestals, poles and vehicle-mounted systems.
