Datum STAX-4 1RU Multi-Modem Chassis with Redundant Power 

The Datum Systems STAX-4 is a high-density, telco-grade 1RU multi-modem chassis designed for satellite hubs, teleports and other mission-critical SATCOM networks. It accommodates up to four Datum M7XC software-defined modems, delivering up to four independently tunable modulators, 64 demodulators and 400 Msps transmit and receive capacity in a single rack unit.

Each installed M7XC modem has independent transmit, receive, user-data Ethernet, monitor and control, and reset connections. The STAX-4 supports all compatible M7XC waveforms and capabilities, including DVB-S2X, FlexLDPC, ACM, DSSS, AES-256 TRANSEC and Smart Carrier Cancelling.

Optional load-sharing redundant power supplies provide continuous operation if one power supply fails. Each supply can support the complete chassis load, including four installed M7XC modems.
