Datum T7XC & T7XC-ODU Software-Defined Troposcatter Modems

The Datum Systems T7XC and T7XC-ODU are compact, software-defined troposcatter modems engineered for high-capacity beyond-line-of-sight communications. Available in embedded indoor and rugged IP65 outdoor configurations, the platform supports fixed, mobile, offshore and tactical troposcatter terminals.

The T7XC provides one or two independently modulated transmit outputs and as many as four receive inputs for single, dual or quad diversity operation. Datum’s patented frequency-domain combiner and equalizer delivers robust multipath performance across difficult troposcatter links.

Supporting data rates up to 529.9 Mbps, symbol rates up to 98 Msps and modulation through 256APSK, the T7XC uses DVB-S2X waveforms with Adaptive Coding and Modulation to optimize throughput as link conditions change. Integrated spectrum analyzers on all four receive ports simplify link monitoring, troubleshooting and terminal commissioning.
