The automatic modulator redundancy switch is a fully autonomously redundancy switch for ASI modulators. Up to 8 ASI modulators can be grouped and backup with one redundant. The unit will be triggered based on an alarm send by one of the main modulators via SNMP and switch autonomous to the redundant path in case of a failure.
