Model 17190 C-Band Receive Filter | Multi-Source Interference Rejection

The MFC Model 17190 is a high-performance C-band receive filter designed to suppress multiple sources of interference beyond the standard transmit band. With a 3.6–4.2 GHz passband, it offers robust rejection of signals from maritime radar (3–3.45 GHz), wireless services (4.55–4.9 GHz), and even X-band and aeronautical navigation bands. Featuring ultra-low insertion loss (0.25 dB typ), excellent VSWR, and >80 dB rejection below 3.185 GHz, the 17190 is ideal for high-density SATCOM receive sites exposed to complex RF environments.

Key Features:

Passband: 3.6 – 4.2 GHz
Rejection:
• 80 dB typ from DC – 3.185 GHz
• 70 dB typ @ 3.3 GHz
• 60 dB min from 4.55 – 4.9 GHz
• 90 dB min from 4.9 – 14 GHz
Insertion Loss: 0.25 dB typ
VSWR: 1.22:1 max
CPR229G flange, 1.5 lbs
No power required; bolt-on install
Applications:
Ideal for satellite receive systems requiring strong rejection of radar, WiMAX, X-band, and other adjacent-band signals in shared spectrum environments.
