ETL Systems 22483 DEXTRA 8-Way L-Band Active Splitter with Variable Attenuation

The ETL Systems 22483 DEXTRA is an 8-way active splitter for 850–2450 MHz satellite signal distribution. It combines variable attenuation, 10 MHz reference pass on port 1, switchable LNB powering, a −20 dB front-panel monitor, and Ethernet control in a 1U chassis.

Frequency Range: 850–2450 MHz
Splitter Capacity: 1 input, 8 outputs
Gain: 0 ±1.0 dB at minimum attenuation, mean across the band
Attenuation: Variable; adjustment range is not stated in the datasheet
10 MHz Reference Pass: Port 1 to common port; less than 1.5 dB insertion loss
10 MHz Rejection: Greater than 55 dB on ports 2–8
Front-Panel Monitor: −20 dB, 50 Ω SMA
LNB Power: Selectable off, 13 V, or 18 V DC; up to 500 mA via the common RF input port
22 kHz Tone: Remotely selectable on or off
Remote Control: Ethernet web browser access, SNMP, and ETL TCP protocol
Power Supplies: Dual redundant with two IEC AC inlets
Form Factor: 1U, 19-inch rackmount

Key Features

• Variable attenuation supports adjustment of distributed signal levels.

• 10 MHz reference pass is provided on port 1, with rejection on ports 2–8.

• Optional OPT-R adds redundant amplifiers; OPT-D adds DC pass between port 1 and the common port; OPT-RD includes both.

DC pass and redundant amplifiers are ordering options. Published RF specifications are for the 50 Ω SMA version; other variants may differ.
