The Quintech RFS21502FAA000 (RFS 2150/2) is a dual 2×1 RF sensing and redundancy switch designed to monitor primary L-band signals and automatically switch to backup inputs when primary signals are lost. Two independent switching channels operate from 950 to 2150 MHz, with each channel providing primary and secondary RF inputs and one switched output.

Each channel filters, amplifies and detects the primary RF signal. When the signal remains above the adjustable threshold, the primary input is selected. If the level falls below the threshold, the switch automatically selects the secondary input. Front-panel pushbuttons allow threshold adjustment from -60 to -20 dBm, while LEDs provide clear primary and secondary status indication.

The RFS21502FAA000 also supports front-panel manual override, remote override through Form C contact closure and relay contact alarm outputs. Nonvolatile memory retains the most recent threshold setting after a power interruption. In a no-power condition, the unit defaults to the primary signal path.

The standard unit does not pass DC voltage or provide LNB power; LNB powering is optional.
