The Quintech XTREME 160 is a modular fan-out RF matrix switch supporting up to 160 combined input and output ports in a compact 4RU chassis. Its distributive, non-blocking architecture routes any input to any or all outputs for satellite, broadcast, telecommunications and high-density RF signal-management systems.

The patented flexible architecture supports symmetric and asymmetric configurations, including 64×64, 48×80, 80×48, 32×128 and 128×32. Electrical signal paths cover 50–200 MHz and 850–2450 MHz, while optional optical receiver modules accept signals across 900–1650 nm.

Independent gain and attenuation control on every input and output allows signal levels and cable losses to be balanced throughout the system. Optional 13/18 VDC LNB power with 22 kHz tone supplies up to 750 mA per input, with as much as 700 W available to connected LNBs.

Redundant power and control cards, together with active modules that can be exchanged in less than 30 seconds, help maximize availability. An 8.4-inch touchscreen provides local operation, while SNMP, Telnet, TCP/IP and a web browser interface enable remote management over Ethernet.
