DTV Innovations TSACO-3000 ASI/310M/TSoIP Automatic Failover Switch

The DTV Innovations TSACO-3000 combines a professional transport-stream automatic failover switch with ASI, SMPTE-310M and Transport Stream over IP conversion. Designed for terrestrial, cable and satellite broadcast systems, it is compliant with ATSC and DVB standards and supports ATSC Mobile DTV applications.

The TSACO-3000 automatically monitors primary and backup transport streams and switches sources when a user-configurable failure condition is detected. Seamless switching maintains synchronization during the transition, helping prevent connected receivers from losing lock. Primary and backup inputs accept ASI, SMPTE-310M or TSoIP, with automatic input-format and packet-size detection.

All three output formats remain active simultaneously, allowing the unit to perform format conversion as well as failover protection. SMPTE 2022 support includes UDP or RTP encapsulation, de-encapsulation and forward error correction. Web-based management, SNMP monitoring, GPIO, relay bypass, dual power supplies and an optional four-input failover mode provide flexible and dependable broadcast operation.
