The DTV Innovations TSC-5000 is a professional transport-stream format converter designed for terrestrial, cable and satellite broadcast systems. It converts between ASI and SMPTE-310M formats while supporting ATSC and DVB standards, ATSC Mobile DTV applications, and both 188-byte and 204-byte transport-stream packets.

The TSC-5000 accepts either ASI or SMPTE-310M input and provides both output formats simultaneously. Equalized and amplified loop outputs support signal distribution, while relay bypass maintains the incoming signal path during a power failure. Configurable null-packet processing provides additional transport-stream flexibility.

An integrated web-server interface allows operators to configure I/O settings, monitor unit status, and save or load user-defined configurations. Rear-panel GPIO, front-panel status indicators, dual power supplies and field-upgradable architecture provide reliable operation in professional broadcast facilities.
