The DTV Innovations OX-R is a professional secure and reliable IP streaming appliance supporting SRT, Zixi, RIST and SMPTE 2022. It is designed for low-latency media delivery over busy LANs, public Internet connections, microwave links and other unpredictable IP networks.

Configured as a sender, the OX-R accepts MPEG transport stream over IP or other UDP/IP packets, encrypts the content, and encapsulates it using the selected reliable streaming protocol. As a receiver, it reverses the process to recover the original stream. The standard configuration includes two input streams with full bidirectional operation, while licensing allows expansion to as many as 50 inputs and four output streams per input.

An optional ASI interface enables ASI-to-TSoIP and TSoIP-to-ASI conversion, with 2-, 4- or 12-port ASI card options available. Eight configurable Ethernet ports, AES encryption, ATSC 3.0 STLTP transport, SNMP monitoring, integrated web-based control and hot-swappable redundant power supplies make the OX-R suitable for critical broadcast contribution and distribution.
