DTV Innovations OX-1 Secure Reliable IP Streaming Appliance

The DTV Innovations OX-1 is a compact, secure and reliable IP streaming appliance supporting SRT, Zixi, RIST and SMPTE 2022 protocols. It provides low-latency media transport over busy LANs, public Internet connections, microwave links and other unpredictable IP networks.

Configured as a sender, the OX-1 accepts an MPEG transport stream over IP, encrypts the content and encapsulates it using the selected reliable streaming protocol. As a receiver, it reverses the process to recover the original transport stream. The appliance supports unicast and multicast delivery, streaming rates up to 150 Mbps, as many as eight licensed inputs and up to four output streams per input.

An optional ASI interface enables ASI-to-TSoIP and TSoIP-to-ASI conversion. Separate Gigabit Ethernet data and management ports, AES encryption, ATSC 3.0 STLTP support, SMPTE 2022 forward error correction, SNMP monitoring and integrated web-based management make the OX-1 ideal for compact broadcast contribution and distribution systems.
