The DTV Innovations CX-1 is an ultra-compact, bidirectional transport stream converter that converts DVB-ASI to Transport Stream over IP (TSoIP) or TSoIP back to ASI. It is ideal for routing broadcast video through production facilities or transporting content to remote transmitter sites over wired or wireless IP networks.

Compliant with DVB-ASI and SMPTE 2022 standards, the CX-1 supports UDP and RTP encapsulation, de-encapsulation, and forward error correction. It accommodates transmit and receive bitrates from 0.1 to 216 Mbps through a Gigabit Ethernet interface and provides a 75-ohm BNC connection for DVB-ASI equipment.

An integrated web-server interface simplifies configuration and monitoring. Operators can manage user accounts and save network and operating settings as reusable presets, including a power-on default. Its field-upgradable design, included power supply, and compact enclosure make the CX-1 a cost-effective solution for terrestrial, cable, satellite, and remote broadcast applications.
