The DTV Innovations CX-4 is a professional quad transport stream converter and IP gateway that provides up to four independent ASI-to-TSoIP or TSoIP-to-ASI conversion channels in a compact 1 RU chassis. Each channel can be configured independently for flexible broadcast signal contribution, routing and distribution.

Compliant with DVB-ASI and SMPTE 2022 standards, the CX-4 supports UDP or RTP transport-stream encapsulation, de-encapsulation and forward error correction. It accommodates 188-byte and 204-byte transport-stream packets, configurable IP packetization and flexible FEC matrix settings for reliable delivery over IP networks.

An integrated web-server interface provides straightforward configuration and monitoring, while SNMP enables remote system supervision. Dual power supplies, front-panel status indicators and a rack-mount design make the CX-4 ideal for studio-to-transmitter links, broadcast facilities, terrestrial networks and IP-based content distribution.
