The DTV Innovations CXQ-4 is a scalable, high-density transport stream converter and IP gateway that converts 4, 8, 12 or 16 DVB-ASI input streams to Transport Stream over IP (TSoIP). Its modular architecture accommodates up to four quad-interface modules in a compact 1 RU chassis.

Each quad module converts four DVB-ASI streams and delivers the corresponding TSoIP streams through one dedicated Gigabit Ethernet port. A fully configured CXQ-4-16 provides 16 ASI inputs and four Ethernet outputs, with each Ethernet connection carrying up to four independent IP streams.

Compliant with DVB-ASI and SMPTE 2022 standards, the CXQ-4 supports UDP or RTP encapsulation, forward error correction, IPv6 and Source-Specific Multicast. Web-based configuration, SNMP monitoring, dual power supplies and field-upgradable architecture make it an excellent solution for broadcast facilities, studio-to-transmitter links and high-density IP video distribution.
