The DTV Innovations OX-4 is a compact, adaptable platform for secure and reliable IP streaming and advanced broadcast workflows. Its default configuration operates as a secure streaming appliance supporting SMPTE 2022, SRT, RIST and Zixi for dependable video delivery over public Internet connections, managed networks and other challenging IP links.

Four auto-sensing 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports support unicast and multicast transmission, UDP and RTP transport, and SMPTE 2022 forward error correction. The platform also supports ATSC 3.0 STLTP delivery over RIST or SRT, with AES encryption available according to the selected streaming protocol.

Through modular software and optional hardware interfaces, the OX-4 can be configured for ASI, SDI, baseband video, compressed video, terrestrial RF or satellite RF applications. Supported platform roles include encoding and decoding, transcoding, PSIP and EPG generation, ATSC 3.0 reception and translation, satellite receiver-decoding, failover switching, signal capture and laboratory signal generation. Web-based management, SNMP monitoring and a compact enclosure make the OX-4 a flexible foundation for evolving broadcast requirements.
