Modbus Monitoring & Control Hardware Starter Kit

The SMW Modbus Monitoring & Control (M&C) Starter Kit provides all necessary hardware to connect a PC to a Swedish Microwave LNB or BDC with M&C functionality enabled. The kit includes a USB to RS485 transceiver with a 0.2-meter cable and a 2-meter M8 cable for easy connection between the host system and the device.

Once connected, users can monitor and control compatible devices using the MODBUS RTU protocol over RS485. Refer to the specific product’s technical specifications for available parameters and the Read (R) / Write (W) register map. Please note that Modbus software or drivers are not included; however, a free SMW M&C Evaluation Tool is available upon request for testing and troubleshooting.
