Evertz 7708LRA and 7708LR-H Wideband RF Fiber Receivers 

The Evertz 7708LRA and 7708LR-H are wideband RF-over-fiber receivers that convert an optical signal from a compatible transmitter into two buffered coaxial RF outputs. Their protocol-transparent design supports video, audio and data signals regardless of modulation format.

The standard 7708LRA covers 88 MHz–3 GHz, while the high-sensitivity 7708LR-H covers 88 MHz–2.3 GHz and supports long-haul fiber applications. Both models provide manual, automatic and intelligent gain-control modes with adjustment in 0.5 dB steps. Intelligent gain control compensates for fiber loss while tracking the RF input level reported by a SmartMON-compatible transmitter.

SmartMON displays operating parameters received from the companion transmitter, while VistaLINK enables remote monitoring and control through SNMP. The receivers feature two buffered RF outputs, wideband 1270–1610 nm optical input compatibility and support for single-mode or optional multimode fiber.
