The DEV 7712 and DEV 7753 ORBIT System provides bidirectional L-band, 10 MHz reference and Ethernet transmission between an indoor equipment room and remote satellite antennas over a single optical fiber per antenna.

The 19-inch, 1 RU indoor unit accommodates one to three swappable link modules. Each module connects to an IP65 outdoor unit and carries an L-band receive signal, an L-band transmit signal with 10 MHz reference, and two independent Ethernet channels over one fiber. One Ethernet channel handles communication between the ORBIT units, while the second remains available for antenna control or other external equipment.

ORBIT is designed to support dual modems or two independent modems communicating with two tracking antennas. An optional third link can connect a maintenance or backup antenna. Variable gain, variable slope, RF sensing, LNB and BUC power monitoring, SNMP and the DEV Web Interface provide centralized management of the complete system.
