DEV 7251 & DEV 7333 DWDM L-Band RF over Fiber Link

The DEV 7251 and DEV 7333 DWDM L-Band RF over Fiber Link provides high-performance analog transmission of extended L-band signals over long-distance single-mode fiber. Supporting 49 DWDM wavelengths with 100 GHz spacing, the system allows numerous RF signals to share a single fiber for teleports, satellite ground stations and distant remote-plant connections.

Operating from 850 to 2450 MHz, the link combines adjustable transmitter and receiver gain, receiver slope compensation and continuous optical modulation index optimization. It supports a recommended optical loss of up to 25 dB, while the datasheet specifies a maximum optical budget of 32 dB at the nominal RF input level.

The DEV 7251 transmitter integrates LNB power and current monitoring. Both modules provide RF sensing, front-panel status LEDs, local push-button controls and dedicated SMA monitoring ports. Hot-swappable construction supports installation in compatible indoor and outdoor DEV Optribution chassis.
