DEV 7238 & DEV 7338 Advanced UHF/VHF RF over Fiber Link
The DEV 7238 and DEV 7338 Advanced UHF/VHF RF over Fiber Link provides high-linearity analog optical transmission from 47 to 1006 MHz. Optimized for VHF, UHF and CATV-band signals, the system is suitable for broadcast facilities, remote antenna sites, cable networks and other applications requiring reliable wideband RF transport over single-mode fiber.
The DEV 7238 transmitter converts incoming RF signals to optical signals, while the DEV 7338 receiver provides adjustable gain and slope compensation to balance output levels and compensate for frequency-dependent losses. Nine wavelength choices support CWDM applications carrying multiple RF signals over a shared fiber.
Both modules incorporate adjustable RF sensing, front-panel status LEDs and dedicated SMA monitoring ports for continuous signal supervision. Their compact, hot-swappable design supports installation in compatible indoor and outdoor DEV Optribution chassis.
