DEV 7234 & DEV 7334 Wideband RF over Fiber Link, 50 MHz-6 GHz

The DEV 7234 transmitter and DEV 7334 receiver form a high-performance analog RF over fiber link covering the exceptionally wide frequency range of 50 MHz to 6 GHz. The system is designed for telecommunications, satellite ground stations, radio telescopes, distributed antenna systems, broadcasting, GPS and timing applications.

The DEV 7234 provides software-adjustable transmitter gain from -15 to +10 dB, allowing the link to accommodate RF input levels across a wide dynamic range. Integrated RF sensing provides continuous signal-status monitoring with front-panel and remote alarm indication.

The standard link operates at 1310 nm over single-mode fiber and supports an optical budget of 15 dB at the nominal RF input level. An optional 1550 nm transmitter and FC/APC optical connectors are available for application-specific requirements.
