The DEV 7181 Optribution Alpha Indoor Chassis provides up to 32 RF over fiber channels within a compact 19-inch, 1 RU platform. Eight front-panel module slots accept four-channel optical transmitters and receivers, high-power modules, 10 MHz reference modules and CWDM equipment.

Operating from 850 to 2450 MHz, standard optical links provide adjustable gain and support transmission distances up to 3 km. CWDM configurations support 4, 8 or 16 wavelengths and distances up to 15 km. Available 1+1 transmitter and receiver redundancy options increase availability for critical optical RF paths.

A full-color local interface, redundant power supplies, Ethernet, SNMP and the DEV Web Interface provide comprehensive management. The DEV 7181 is interoperable with other DEV Optribution RF over fiber products.
